Jordyn getting a chropractic cranial treatment

Chiropractor for your toddler or baby, Dr. Craig Ross, at Wellness22 Chiropractic knows that the 22 cranial bones of the skull affect most of the functions of the body... and that a great deal of stress is put on these bones during birth.

The stress on the cranium very often affects the Dura Mater - the tough material that protects the brain and the spinal cord. The Dura Mater is a membrane which acts as a durable sheath holding the brain hemispheres together. It also extends down the spine and body. It is attached at the base of the skull at the occiput bone; to the spine at the first two neck vertebra and to the sacrum or tailbone.

The Dura Mater covers the brain and the spinal cord and all the nerves — all the way to the tips of the fingers and the tips of the toes and all the organs. When the bones of the skull are misaligned/distorted it causes an uneven pull on the dura mater, causing distortions (twisting) of the spine or subluxations. These subluxations tend to cause pain and interfere with normal nervous system flow and the enjoyment of life.

Cranial Chiropractic Treatment For Toddler

In the video below, Dr. Ross is about to use the Neuro Cranial Integration technique he developed on his granddaughter, Jordyn. The technique is very gentle on babies, infants and toddlers (as well as adults).

Dr. Ross first reaches around to the back of the toddler's head and places his fingers in the precise position. He then gently lifts and stretches Jordyn's cranium to get just the right amount of stretch in her Dura Mater while holding her body steady with his other hand. He repeats the process on the other side.

You can see that Jordyn loves it! She's been getting Neuro Cranial Integration treatments since she was a day old. Could that be why she has never been sick — no colds, no flu, no ear infections, no colic — for even a day? Just a perfectly happy, healthy little girl.

Dr. Ross gives a chiropractic cranial adjustment to baby Jordyn:

We have to agree — she's got to be the cutest baby ever! And she's really benefited from her chiropractic cranial treatments.
